Bio

My name is Matt Kennedy and I am a working musician and a guitar tutor.

I have been playing Guitar for 21 years and teaching for 5 years. In 2016, I completed a Level 6 Diploma in Performance Music at Vision College.

As a working musician, I have had the privilege to play alongside some amazing musicians in a wide variety of musical projects. This includes playing lead electric guitar and writing music for my reggae fusion band Horizone, as well as playing guitar and singing in various rock, funk, reggae, blues and acoustic cover bands.

Teaching Info

Lessons are generally catered to the age, level and musical interests of the student. I can teach you songs you like, incorporating useful theory and exercises to make you a better guitarist.
