Bio

Hi my name is Hong and I’m originally from South Korea.

I learnt classical piano since I was 5 for about 4 years, then I started learning Blues, Pop, Rock and Jazz piano/keyboard since I was 16.

I came to New Zealand when I was 18 and I got into CPIT Jazz School for the degree after a year of the language course. I finished my course end of last year and had my graduation earlier this year.

I sing, play the keytar and also write songs in a local band called The Laon.
I have experiences in teaching music as I have my own singing class, which I volunteered and I also have had a few piano students.
