Looking to pick a new hobby or level up your skills in the new year? I would love to help you on your musical journey!
All ages and skill levels are welcome – whether you want to learn your first chord or some crazy jazz modes, I will tailor each lesson to YOU and what YOUR goals are. I believe the number one reason people become discouraged with the instrument is mismatched expectations between student and tutor – communication is key to a fulfilling learning experience.
ABOUT ME
I really haven’t put down the guitar since I first picked it up 10 years ago, and since then I have gained experience playing and performing in a wide range of genres, including Jazz, Funk, Rock, Hip hop & Classical. I am passionate about literally anything that generates a waveform, and have attained a diploma in Jazz Performance, a Bachelor in Commerical Music, and recently formed a kickass jazz/funk trio!
Lessons are based in Kilbirnie but can travel to you at additional cost. I am flexible to schedule lessons at any time during the day/week. Tuition is $50 per hour, or can do half hour sessions at $30.

I tailor my lessons to whatever your guitar goals are, a lot of people get stuck in the rut of rote learning scales/chords without any real context so I try put a real focus on learning songs to put these concepts in way they’re actually used.
