Bio
I am a violinist and violin teacher based in Dunedin, NZ. I am currently in my 4th year of a Bachelor of Music in Violin performance and a Bachelor of Teaching (primary education) at the University of Otago. I also regularly play in the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra, NZSO National Youth Orchestra and Dunedin Youth Orchestra, and teach violin at Saturday Morning Music Classes Dunedin.
In my spare time, I enjoy learning piano, reading novels, and swimming at the beach!

I am enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and have six years of experience teaching young beginners and adult learners to intermediate to advanced students.
I am committed to helping students achieve their specific goals, whether preparing for violin exams and performances or simply enjoying the process of learning new skills and repertoire. Lesson durations are flexible and can be adjusted based on the student’s age and level.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe that every student has the potential to excel and find joy in music. In my teaching, I strive to create a supportive learning environment that is tailored to each student’s learning styles, strengths and challenges to create effective and enjoyable lessons. This personalised approach helps students build a strong foundation in technique while fostering a love for music, guiding each student towards becoming a confident, skilled, and passionate violinist.
