Bio

Kia ora! I’m Anya, a new and passionate piano teacher offering beginner lessons for both children (ages 5+) and adults. With ABRSM Grades 1–5, Trinity Grade 6, plus Grade 5 ABRSM Theory and ongoing piano study. I have a strong foundation in classical piano. However, I’m happy to tailor lessons to your musical interests—whether that’s pop, film music, or anything in between!

I also teach music theory and will include it as part of lessons for beginners to help build a solid foundation. If you’d like to focus more on theory, I’m happy to offer dedicated theory lessons as well.

As a future primary school teacher, I understand how to make learning engaging, fun, and supportive. My goal is to foster a love for music and help you build confidence at the piano, no matter your age.

Basic music theory (included for beginners)

30-minute lesson – $40
1-hour lesson – $60
