At The Drum Studio, Auckland we provide personally tailored professional Drum Lessons for all abilities. Beginner – Advanced. We have a large variety of students ranging in age and ability.
Our tutors are both friendly and fully qualified, with a focus on tailoring each lesson to the student’s individual needs.

Bachelor of Music
After acquiring a Bachelor of Music Degree in Jazz Performance from the New Zealand School of Music Wellington, Callum has been pursuing a fulfilling career managing and playing in bands nationally and internationally, with residences in countries such as the UAE, France, Greece and England playing RnB, Pop, Rock and Jazz.
Callum has been performing professionally since 2004 with thousands of gigs under his belt ranging from Jazz to Originals Rock equipping him with an indispensable wealth of knowledge and experience that he is passionate to share with his students.

What are your lesson options?
Lessons are on a regular weekly basis with 30min and 60min options available.
Do I have to buy a drum kit?
No, many of our students don’t have drum kits when they start, and only make the decision to buy an instrument once they have decided that drumming is definitely for them.
I have never played drums or an instrument before, does it matter?
Definitely not, we encourage all new drum enthusiasts to start with lessons. No experience required!
Can I take drum lessons just for fun?
Absolutely, we have students of all abilities and lessons are tailored to your own personal goals, whether it is just to try something new or looking to launch your career as a pro musician.
