Kia Ora, I’m Blair!
After completing my Bachelor of Music (BMus), I hit the road and since, have toured Aotearoa many times. Performing, touring and studio work has given me skills and experiences to better understand the music culture and industry in our country. Notably, to performing at Electric Avenue 2023 with Big Sima and Boomtown.
I have also had experience teaching students of all ages and skill sets.
Teaching Info
Lessons are tailored to each student and their skill set. My goal is to develop the skills students need to express themselves on the piano or keyboard whilst having fun!
I encourage all students to listen and discover new music through collective listening sessions, where we share and listen to music together.
Students will have access to keyboards, synthesizers, organ, recording equipment, etc. To develop the skills needed to be a musician in modern times, or simply keep an audio diary of their progress.
Music and creativity are human nature. Students will ALWAYS have priority of their musical journey, ambitions, and how they express their creativity! I will only be there to guide them.
