Bio
Since a young age, I have been passionate about music as an art form. Through my methodical approach to both practice and analysis, I have gained much theoretical understanding in music. As well as a logical approach to music, I am able to provide clear explanation in concepts of music, and guide my students to use these concepts in practical work.
I have been studying music theory, piano, and drums for 7 years. I have had numerous experiences in teaching various students from beginner to advanced level. Over the past few years I have received awards and certificates such as Associate Trinity College London Music theory diploma, Wellington Smokefree Rockquest 1st place, Wellington International Students Excellence award, etc.
Teaching Info
I am focused on assisting student needs. The outcome of lessons are to provide the students with a deeper understanding about their goals in music, and building musicianship.
Materials taught include:
– Trinity graded music theory books.
– My own exercises.
– Books and readings.
I am happy to recommend Hankle as a theory teacher. As his student, I gained a large amount of, not only theory knowledge but he also shared his vast knowledge about many different aspects of music (including discussing composers and musical genres). He did all this in a patient and friendly manner with positive feedback in well structured sessions. I am a "visual learner " and he always made sure to focus the lesson around that. I look forward to following Hankle's musical future and I am sure he will excel at whatever he does.
