Bio
Jade has a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Commerce, with over 10+ years singing and performing in choirs, musical theatre, and being in bands. Jade is currently the lead singer and songwriter for indie rock band Club Ruby, whose single ‘Heartbreak Overtime’ hitting #5 on NZ Hot New Singles chart, as well as headlining the Lunar New Years festival in Aotea Square, and playing a halftime show for the Fifa Fan Festival.
Jade is passionate about helping students hone in on their musicality, artist identity, and develop confidence in their performance and creative process. Many of Jade’s students choose to learn a combo of singing, songwriting and production which can include beginner guitar and piano.
All lessons are neurodivergent friendly and held at the lovely & cozy Halfway Down Studios, located within Movespace on Dominion Road. (House calls available on request & at Jade’s discretion)
Teaching Info
Jade’s lessons are uniquely tailored to the individual needs of the student. Students will receive positive reinforcement and help with goal setting, music fundamentals and a dash of music theory and/or songwriting if that’s what’s required to meet your goals :)
