Bio
Miriam is a professional Vocal Coach and performer specialising in Commercial and Contemporary music (CCM). She has a Bachelor of Jazz Performance (Voice) from the New Zealand School of Music and has a T.O.S.C.A Certification from the Voice Lab NZ and Atlas Voice NZ.

Sessions are held from a studio in Wellington South and students receive coaching oriented around their personal goals, with an overall focus on developing vocal health, flexibility, individuality and musicianship.
Miriam invites an open and honest sessions with her clients. She understands that singing well is about great technique and craft, but it’s also about being free to explore.
Understanding the physiological demands required of the modern vocalist, vocal pedagogy is derived from a sound knowledge of current singing science with particular consideration to developing flexibility and musicianship.
Music theory, ear training and use of technology are taught in a practical manner.
With a passion to help people move forward who may have been experiencing difficulty/frustration growing their vocal potential, her habilitation/growth plans ensure a safe return to the stage and can assist through periods of heavy work. Miriam has a special interest in vocal habilitation after surgery/pregnancies/injury/illness recovery.
