Bio
We are a national music school which provides music lessons all over Auckland and have over 80 teachers in the Auckland area. Our lessons are predominately one-to one lessons and are held in either the teachers studio or from the many schools we have partnerships with.
We hold Auckland Music Competitions annually with gold, silver & bronze medals handed out for each class, and trophies for the overall winners. We have national Practical and Theory exams so students are able to gain qualifications for their tuition.

Teaching Info
Our teachers are hand-picked for their qualifications and personality to ensure the pupil receives the very best tuition. NZ Modern School of Music has it’s own teaching material including our own modern style piano tuition books. These books are only available from NZ Modern School of Music teachers and are not available in music stores. We pride ourselves on the fact we can supply these books at very low cost to pupils compared with other music material. As part of a lesson we teach pupils how to read music and provide theory exams. Our teaching style is very creative as we hold regular workshops for our teachers for upskilling and emphasis is put on improvisation and creative work.
