Bio
Shannon has a Master’s Degree in Music Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She has been working for ten years as a professional musical theatre performer in London, Hong Kong, New Zealand and on cruise ships.
Shannon’s warm and encouraging teaching style helps her to foster confidence and creativity in her students. She is passionate about helping people to develop solid singing technique and confidence they will take through life.
Aside from teaching, Shannon currently tours internationally as a part of professional vocal trio, “The Madeleines”.

Shannon builds rapport with her students quickly and sets up an environment where they can confidently take risks to discover their true potential.
Shannon is also an experienced Speech and Drama teacher and currently teaches at many of Auckland’s top schools. She believes good singing begins with good storytelling, and ‘acting through song’ is a very important component of her lessons.
Shannon can also support students who are preparing to audition for overseas/ local drama schools and loves helping her students to achieve their performance goals.
She teaches privately in person and on Zoom.
