With a Bachelor of Performing Arts and a Master’s in Music, Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge to her roles as a high school teacher and vocal coach. She also has extensive experience teaching drama and music. Kelly’s background in performance and education ensures a dynamic and comprehensive learning experience.
Valentin
A graduate of the prestigious Moscow Conservatorium, Valentin holds a Bachelor of Music with specializations in violin and piano. His extensive career as a professional musician includes performances with orchestras and on cruise ships around the world.
Both Kelly and Valentin have returned to Hawkes Bay and are now sharing their global expertise at Soundwave Music Lessons, where they teach students of all ages. Join them to experience top-tier music education and performance training.

Valentin is a classically trained violin and piano teacher from the prestigious Moscow Conservatorium, and the only instructor from this renowned institution teaching in New Zealand. He began learning piano from his mother at age 4, and by age 6, he also took up the violin. At the Conservatorium, he majored in violin while continuing his piano studies. After a global career as a performer, Valentin now brings his exceptional expertise to New Zealand.
