Bio

I am an experienced musician and love to help people of all ages discover the joy and the art of learning to play music they love. Lessons are 1:1 and are held in my home music studio. I have experience in teaching online and also in teaching students with special needs.

Teaching Info

I teach music in a range of styles: Blues, Latin, Jazz, Contemporary, Pop, Rock and Classical. Students are taught to read and understand music and also to develop their own interpretation of modern music pieces and to improvise.

Music theory and technical skills (aural, rhythm, sight-reading, scales, arpeggios) are also taught and students are helped to understand how music theory relates to the music they learn and how this can enhance their musical and creative skills.

Exams are optional and my students that have chosen to participate in these have enjoyed achieving excellent results.

Teaching hours on week days are from 2pm
